Mauritius is a small dot point in the middle of the Indian Ocean, known for its beautiful white sandy beaches and calm turquoise sea. However for surfing, it’s not Hawaii or the Fiji but the waves are good too.

Le Morne is the perfect area to surf, as the wind blows high there and is the largest lagoon of the island with nice spots.

Olympic Champion Nikos Kaklamanakis has been recently in the island and was amazed by the wind and has found in Mauritius, another destination to practice his favorite sports, which is windsurfing.

However, Tamarin too is ideal for surfing with a small lagoon, its big waves makes the pleasure of many impassioned.
